Formally inducted as President of Harvest Bible College on 7 February 2011, Brendan is a familiar figure in the Australian Christian education community, having served as Principal of the College since January 2005. Brendan has had a long association with Harvest, having begun as a student with the College in 1989, and eventually becoming a staff member, Academic Dean and College Principal. As an expert in the training and professional development of ministers, Brendan holds a Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University (USA) and a Master of Arts from the University of Melbourne. He has also completed Master's level coursework in Archaeology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He regularly teaches and preaches both locally and internationally and appears on the Australian Christian Channel. A strong advocate for the training and professional development of ministers, Brendan has trained ministers in several countries around the world and continues to build the local church by pouring into the lives of men and women of God that are called into ministry. |

His personal ministry purpose statement is "To connect with people whose desire is to become all that God has called them to be and do all that God has called them to do." Brendan is happily married to Carol with four children and is an avid biblical historian/archaeologist, having visited archaeological digs in Jerusalem. He is a lifelong loyal supporter of the Carlton Blues and enjoys sports with his son who is a footballer and a tennis player.
