On-campus

Enjoy the atmosphere and interaction as you join with students at one of our many campus locations. Our parent campus is located in Dandenong North and we also have Study Centres in Richmond, Sunshine, Maidstone and Wodonga.

In Queensland we have a campus in the Gold Coast and Study Centres in Carindale, Springfield and the Sunshine Coast. Added to this, there are Extension Centres operating in Bundoora, Ballarat and Ringwood in Victoria and Vineyard in NSW.

Online*
Semester based

This mode of study allows you to progress through your course week by week with a new set of study material available each week. Lectures may be downloaded or viewed online. Assessment tasks have specific submission dates. Assistance with your unit of study is available from an online tutor.


Flexible delivery (including online intensives)

This mode of study allows you to work at your own pace with all of the material available from the start date of the unit. Lectures may be downloaded or viewed online. Assessment tasks for all Intensive units are due on the end-of-unit date. Assessment tasks for all other Flexible Online units are due no later than two weeks before the end-of-unit date. Assistance with your unit of study is available from an online tutor.

Distance education (Extension centres)

Our Extension Centre Program is designed to work as a partnership between the local church and the specialist Ministry of Harvest Bible College. We provide each Extension Centre with the necessary curriculum materials to successfully teach the relevant subjects. The material for Extension Centres is designed for ease of use. The study is self-contained and complete with all the lecturer’s reading and study notes.

Library services for external and online students

External and online students are encouraged to access theological libraries in their local area. The Harvest Bible College Library Melbourne can provide external students with access to religion databases. These databases provide citations and full-text articles/ abstracts from over 400 journals.

External students who live in the vicinity of a campus may register with the Campus Library, entitling you to the same borrowing rights as on campus students.


*To participate in online studies through Harvest, students must have reliable and regular Internet access (broadband preferred) and a good level of computer literacy. Technical requirements include a PC with at least a 700mhz processor, 1024mb of RAM, 800x600 monitor display, 120gb hard disk, DVD ROM drive and sound card / speakers, 56k modem (audio only) or 256kb broadband (video), a reliable internet service provider and internet software with Web Browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or equivalent) and an email address as well as a Word Processing program that is compatible with Microsoft Word 2007 or above.  All online students (excluding Masters) will also need Windows Media Player / Apple iTunes, Adobe Flash Player and Microsoft PowerPoint (or PowerPoint viewer) to access online lectures and material.  Please make sure that you are not using anything older than Microsoft Windows XP, and Microsoft Office 2000.
