Albert has been an adjunct academic staff member since 2009. He has wide experience in youth and lay ministry and Christian leadership education, having been a youth pastor, church deacon, church elder, lay pastor, and church and missionary board member.
After enjoying a successful research science career for eighteen years, in 2000 Albert embarked on a new career in Human Resources. Albert has led and managed a number of professional teams to achieve successful outcomes. Throughout that time Albert served as a youth leader / pastor at the Arabic Baptist Church in Melbourne then as the chairman of the youth board at the Moonee Ponds Baptist Church. He served as a member of the Middle East Christian Outreach Mission Board as well as a member of the New Settlers Baptist Churches Committee and Youth Leadership in Victoria.
In 2004, Albert founded Leadwise Consulting, a boutique Leadership and Organisational Development consultancy based in Melbourne. After years of extensive scientific research experience and many publications he moved sectors and completed his Masters in Education focusing on Policy, Leadership and Change at Monash University. In 2001, he commenced a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Organisational Change at the University of Melbourne. His thesis is entitled: “Reconstruction of Leadership in a situation of significant organisational change.”
Outside Harvest Bible College, Albert is involved in the life of his local church and community, and ministers and trains Christian leaders (e.g. Church leaders and emerging leaders in Lebanon and Jordan in September 2014). Albert is also involved in building his business and client base in the corporate world using biblical leadership principles to influence, mentor and coach leaders in their workplaces and communities.
Albert’s clients include Australian Red Cross Blood Services, Yooralla, Western Water, East Gippsland Shire Council, University of Ballarat, MaxiTRANS, ANZ, Scalzo Foods, & Casey City Church and many others.
