Peter Downes

Peter became an adjunct staff member in 2015. For the past 13 years he has been National Director of Vineyard Churches Australia, as well as a serial church-planter. He presently is planting and pastoring n the Geelong area as well as leading the Vineyard Movement.  Since 2013 he has been involved in teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate subjects as well as writing new Vineyard subjects with ACOM.

He has been a teacher and trainer of Christians in a variety of contexts for many years. Committed to raising up disciples to reach their full potential, find their calling, and to be lovers of Jesus and His word.

Prior to his ministry with the Vineyard Peter was an ordained Anglican Minister for 14 years. He loves, and encourages others to love the whole church.

Peter is married to Kathy, has two gorgeous daughters (both married) and a Labrador.
