James’s adventure … so far
I always wanted to go to Harvest since I dreamed from the age of 14 of becoming a pastor. I remember sorting out my course with Amelia Pickering before I had finished year 10! It was on my heart to go to Harvest, and I stuck with it.
Studying at Harvest was an amazing experience. I walked in as a passionate but raw student and entered a great season of learning, development, understanding — as well as building great relationships with other students and faculty, whom I’ll never forget. I felt they all truly wanted me to succeed and be the best ‘me’ I could be.
I am currently gaining more experience at my young age of 23, working in youth ministry at Empire Youth (Enjoy Church East). Last summer, I worked as a counsellor at a Christian sports and adventure camp in Arkansas, USA.
